After being diagnosed with dyslexia as a small child, Dutch multimedia artist GabyGaby learned five important life lessons that helped him become a wildly successful artist.
He first had to learn that there is always a way around an obstacle. In his case, he learned to find outlets for his creativity rather than letting his dyslexia get in the way of his dreams.
Next, he learned to never give up on his dreams and that life is art and art is life. When he was young, he couldn’t afford expensive art supplies, but instead found ways to display his art in whichever way he could using the world around him.
His last two lessons are to lead rather than follow and give in order to receive.
